The Arc Activity Calendar
Community Support offers a temporary break for caregivers as well as a source of fun and fellowship for individuals. Services generally are in the community or could be at one of The Arc’s centers. Assistance may be provided to access Special Olympics, community venues, as well as, group events.
Community Support also focuses on independent living. The Arc’s caring staff offers assistance and training to manage independence in apartment living through skill building in budgeting, meal planning, value shopping, transportation, and recreation.
Activity Form
The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and
developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community
throughout their lifetimes.
