Family & Intermittent CILA
The Arc of the Quad Cities Area supports individuals with disabilities through a variety of group and individualized activities that are based in the community or at the person’s individualized home.
The Arc provides services in the areas of:
- Personal Support Workers (PSWs) who provide assistance with daily activities for a few hours each week or several hours daily. Supports can be provided in areas such as eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, community integration, preparing meals, transportation, and other activities or independent living skills
- A wide variety of recreation activities both in town and day trips out of town including shopping, eating out, festivals, art/music venues, movies, sports events, etc.
- Linkage to Special Olympics providing training, supervision and guidance to athletes to compete and attend the Special Olympics games. A great way to stay in shape and make new friends!
- Supports in independent Living including assistance and training to manage apartment living by skill building in budgeting, meal planning, value shopping, transportation, and recreation.
