The Arc of the Quad Cities Area’s mission is to live and work in partnership with the community to support individuals with developmental and other disabilities, through a variety of support services. The Arc has been servicing the Quad Cities since 1952, founded by a group of parents who wanted their children’s rights recognized and their independence encouraged. Since that time, The Arc has grown in size and scope to become a leading advocate and comprehensive service provider for individuals with disabilities. The Arc is proud of the accomplishments it has made to expand opportunities available to individuals with disabilities in the Quad Cities Area.

“The individuals here are amazing to work with. There is never a dull moment. It is a pleasure to work at a place that is so friendly and comfortable. You just wouldn’t want to work anywhere else. I had no idea that there was an organization that does anything like helping out people with people with disabilities. They are very flexible with their work schedule and the benefits from working here are great.”

“The Arc provides quality services to the community and is a great way to give back. I have been here for 3 years and my time has been beyond amazing. The individuals we serve are good people and I have learned so much from them. Here at The Arc, the work environment promotes collaboration and is fit for people who enjoy helping others. My job is very challenging and a lot of responsibility rests on my shoulders. I enjoy a challenge and this fits my personality.”
