Disability Awareness Night Recap
Together, We Knocked Barriers Out of the Park
The Arc of the Quad Cities Area would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for Disability Awareness Night at Modern Woodmen Park.
This special evening brought our community together to celebrate inclusion, raise awareness, and recognize the value and contributions of individuals of all abilities. Through our partnership with the Quad City River Bandits and the Quad Cities Disabilities Awareness Coalition, we were able to create an unforgettable night of baseball, community, and advocacy.
Thank You to Our Community Partners
We are especially grateful to the members of the Quad Cities Disabilities Awareness Coalition for their dedication, collaboration, and continued commitment to building a more inclusive Quad Cities. Their efforts help make events like Disability Awareness Night possible and ensure that awareness, accessibility, and opportunity remain at the forefront of our community conversations.
Thank You for Supporting the MLK Food Drive
A special thank you to everyone who donated nonperishable food items during the event. Your generosity will help support local food pantries and provide assistance to individuals and families throughout our community.
Every donation made a difference, and together we demonstrated the power of community service, compassion, and collective action.
A Night of Inclusion, Awareness & Community
From the excitement of the game to the meaningful conversations and connections made throughout the evening, Disability Awareness Night showcased what is possible when a community comes together in support of inclusion and belonging.
This event was about more than baseball. It was about recognizing abilities, celebrating diversity, and continuing the important work of removing barriers that prevent individuals from reaching their full potential.
