(Rock Island, Ill.) The Quad Cities is known for its special style of pizza. The pizza here isn’t your average slice and that’s because most of the one-of-kind pizza restaurants are locally owned – some by multigenerational families who offer up the tastes and flavors that make each unique. They are the kind of places where the person behind the counter knows your name and probably knows what your favorite slice is when you walk through the door.

Slice of the QC is a fundraiser that celebrates the local businesses that make up the roots and flavors of the Quad Cities while raising important funds for people with disabilities. Participants voted at an in-person event on October 7st at Crawford Brew Works, and online. A total of 1,976 votes were cast.
