Disability Awareness Night with the River Bandits on August 26


Rock Island, IL — The QC Disabilities Awareness Coalition invites you to enjoy a night at the ballpark and celebrate inclusion at the Disability Awareness Night with the Quad City River Bandits on Friday, August 26th. Tickets are available


You make a bid to watch the game in style with a Single Suite ($600 value) on Friday, August 26. The suite comes with 20 tickets and indoor climate-controlled seating or outdoor seating. To give back to their community the Disabilities Awareness Coalition is collecting non-perishable food items to the ballpark in honor of disabilities awareness and Martin Luther King Jr. Your food items will get you a ticket voucher to any future River Bandits game (limit one per person with food item donation).


Coalition members represent 17 agencies and non-profit organizations in the Quad Cities Area dedicated to empowering people with disabilities and increasing inclusion in our community by using large sporting events as a platform to create inclusive, celebratory spaces for people with disabilities. Coalition members are The Arc of the Quad Cities Area, Project SEARCH, Hand in Hand, Individual Advocacy Group, The Arc of the Quad Cities Iowa, Davenport Parks and Recreation, Gigi’s Playhouse, New Kingdom Trailriders, Special Olympics Illinois, Camp Courageous, EveryChild, Special Olympics Iowa Scott County, IL IA Center of Independent Living, Autism Society, TQSCHA, HDC, and Aktion Club.
