Rock Island, IL – The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International announces that The Arc of the Quad Cities Area has been accredited for a period of three years for its Assistive Technology, Employment, Job Development, Community Housing, Community Integration, Organizational Employment and Supported Living programs and services. The accreditation will extend through 2021. This achievement is an indication of The Arc’s dedication and commitment to improving the lives of people with disabilities and demonstrates an established pattern of conformance to the highest nationally recognized standards of care.
This latest Three-Year Accreditation continues The Arc’s legacy of continuous accreditation spanning over two decades. The Arc has a long and respected history of providing services and being a positive presence in the Quad Cities Area.
This accreditation decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a Three-Year Accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable, and accountable.
